Human Capital Management

Are most of your hourly workforce disengaged? If so, you are not alone. A Gallup poll estimated that eighty percent of the workforce is disengaged.

The hourly workforce is your continuous improvement effort's most underutilized talent pool.

Let Precision Processes guide you to “Best Company to Work for” recognition.

Companies commonly spend millions of dollars on new equipment and virtually nothing on training the operators to properly use it. This is a very common occurrence. The workforce is by far the most underutilized asset in every company we have encountered. Oftentimes, management and the workforce are in clear conflict. Resolving workforce issues is a leadership responsibility. Just as the Leadership Team is responsible for safety, quality, and equipment performance, they are equally responsible for positively influencing the workforce assets.

Many companies proudly profess that their people are their greatest asset, but a quick look at their hiring, development, operator involvement, and evaluation processes frequently tell a different story. The Human Capital Strategy will be a high priority for us.

Clearly defining standardized training, certification, expectations and performance standards is mandatory. Each operator is entitled to know if they had a good day. Precision Processes uses the Training-Within-Industry Job Instruction methodology to create standard work. It was created by Deming in the 1940’s and is recognized as the most effective training program ever developed. Our people are certified TWI-JI practitioners.
